Year 3 lesson: e/eu sounds
1. Watch this video up to 2:59.
2. In pairs, try pronouncing this new words:
petit (small)
je (I)
le (the)
deux (two)
jeu (game)
neuf (nine)
boeuf (beef)
coeur (heart)
3. Listen to the recording!

4. In your French books, write today's date: 01/10 and write the following words for the sound /e/. It sounds like a tennis player trying to hit a racket!!
PETIT - CHEMIN - LE - JE - QUE
and practise pronouncing them!! :)
Next lesson, we will write the /eu/ sound.
EXTRA: Try the following tongue twister: neuf petits boeufs, deux petits oeufs. (don't pronounce the final s!!)
