Year 3: é and g sounds

Year 3: eu and e sounds - with SOUND (finally!)

Year 6: au restaurant

Can you write a restaurant or cafe menu all in French?
You can use Cote's menu as an inspiration: http://www.cote-restaurants.co.uk/food_menu.html
Remember to give your restaurant a French name and to have the price in Euro!

Year 5: dans ma trousse

starter: which words are masculine, feminine or plural?

Can you now list the new items in this song?


 
New learning: il y a... = there is...
Il y a combien de stylos? = how many pens are there?
Be careful when you answer in the plural, to show the plural of the noun!
Example: il y a un crayon et il y a deux stylos.
 
True or false? Read the sentences, write the corrected sentences in your book!
1. Dans mon sac, il y a un crayon, deux regles, un cahier, trois livres, un crayon de couleur Crayola et deux pommes!
 
2. Dans mon cartable, il y a deux crayons, trois trousses, une regle et un petit cahier.


What do you have in your school bag? Il y a combien de cahiers? Il y a combien de crayons? Write the sentence in your book!

HOMEWORK: learn the classroom objects (write in your vocab book), test on numbers and school objects next week!

4. In your French books, write today's date: 01/10 and write the following words for the sound /e/. It sounds like a tennis player trying to hit a racket!!

PETIT - CHEMIN - LE - JE - QUE

and practise pronouncing them!! :)
Next lesson, we will write the /eu/ sound.
